Program paperwork

The approved scope of work, work write-up, or the rehabilitation scope prepared for the project.

Inspection & assessment reports

Lead inspection or XRF report, risk-assessment report, or any hazard report the program relied on.

Notices & correspondence

Health Department notice, program approval letter, or correspondence from a case manager or program administrator.

Scope

Approved rehabilitation scopes often contain more than lead work

Programs differ, and every approved scope is specific to its property. Where the following items are included in an approved scope and fall within our capabilities and registrations, we can perform them as part of the same project rather than sending you to find another contractor.

Lead remediation & abatement

Licensed abatement, interim controls, encapsulation and component replacement.

Component replacement

Windows, doors, door frames, casings, thresholds, trim and baseboards.

Interior finishes

Drywall and plaster repair, surface preparation, priming and painting, flooring-related work.

Exterior repairs

Exterior components and repairs where they appear in the approved scope.

Drainage corrections

Basement water intrusion, foundation and exterior drainage, French-drain systems and drain piping where included.

Sewer & drain investigation

Camera investigation of accessible sewer piping where a project indicates a possible concern.

Not every program covers these items. This list describes work that may appear in an approved rehabilitation scope — not work that any program pays for automatically. Send us your actual approved scope and we will tell you which portions we can perform.

Project support

Drainage and sewer concerns found during a rehabilitation project

Rehabilitation projects on older properties sometimes surface a drainage or sewer problem that nobody knew about when the scope was written. Before anyone recommends excavation or a full replacement, accessible sewer piping can be investigated with a sewer camera to document what is actually visible.

  • Blockages and root intrusion
  • Offset joints and cracked piping
  • Damaged or deteriorated sections
  • Other visible sewer-line conditions

Basement water intrusion, foundation drainage and French-drain work are handled the same way — documented first, then reviewed against the approved scope.

If the work is outside the approved scope. We can document the observed condition and provide an estimate or supporting information for the property owner or the program administrator to evaluate as a possible change-order item. Any required approval must be received before additional work proceeds. We do not approve change orders and we cannot promise that any additional item will be covered.
